Artforms have multiple music centre venues throughout Leeds. With all ages from under 5 to over 60 welcome and a range of instrument classes and musical events available, there’s something for everyone at Artforms.

Artforms - East Leeds & Kippax

The East Leeds & Kippax Music Centre offers plenty of activities. 


There are Saturday classes at Brigshaw High School. These classes are casual and fun, and suitable for all ages. Once you’ve finished practising your instrument alone, try joining a group and playing with others. You can gain confidence and get more experience at this Leeds Music centre, too.


The Ease Leeds & Kippax Music Centre also has a timetable for a range of music lessons.

Guiseley 

Then there’s the Guiseley location. This Leeds music centre has perfect classes for you, whether you want to join an ensemble or learn to play a certain instrument. There’s a Wind Band, Rock and Rhythm Club, and plenty of other classes. 


The Guiseley Music Centre has Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Voice, and Violin lessons, among other lessons.

With over 50 music classes and ensembles, you’re sure to find something you’ll love at North Leeds Music Centre. Offering plenty of Saturday morning classes for children and adults at Allerton C of E Primary School, this is the place!


From Mini Music Maker classes for children as young as 2 to a Training Orchestra and even more advanced Jazz, Senior, and String Orchestras, you can work your way up to the top at the North Leeds Music Centre.

Rothwell Music Centre offers a wide range of music-making opportunities. They have a Percussion Group, Saxophone Ensemble, and classes for young children, such as Fun Music.

Wetherby

Wetherby Leeds Music Centre offers music lessons for everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced musicians. When you’re ready to use your skills, they also have a range of ensemble classes. A higher education music conservatoire founded in 1965 by Joseph Stones, Leeds Conservatoire offers music degrees in Jazz, Classical, Popular, Folk, Music Production, Music Business and drama. They have a focus on providing support for extra-curricular projects and activities.

Yorkshire Music School

With a relaxed and spacious environment to practise your talents, as well as plenty of courses and lessons, the Yorkshire Music School, Saltaire, is a great place to learn about music. This Leeds music centre offers Brass, Guitar, Vocals, Piano, Acoustic/Classical Guitar, Drum, Bass, and Ukulele lessons for all ages, as well as GCSE Music.

Music Lab

Leeds’ Music Lab is, as the name suggests, a unique music school with an experimental approach to teaching music. They use a learner-centred approach to music, where the learner controls the pace of their journey and what to learn next. That said, they allow working towards grades if this is what you want. 


Trial lessons are “FREEEEEE” with Piano, Guitar, Singing, Drums, Saxophone, Violin, Bass, Music 4 Kidz and more available to try out. There are even Music Camps running during the holidays!


This Leeds music centre has two locations:

North Leeds

The North Leeds Music Lab is located in Moortown School. They offer group classes, including Music 4 Kidz, Guitar Lab, Piano Lab, and Singing Lab. They also offer Private Lessons, as well as most musical instrument lessons.
